FundedNext's CME futures arm — one-phase Bolt/Rapid/Legacy/Flex challenges with an end-of-day trailing drawdown (intraday spikes don't raise it) and unrestricted news trading. The catches are no automation/EAs/copy trading at all (manual only), a 5-tick/15–20-second anti-scalping rule, a 40% consistency rule on most plans, and Benchmark-day payout gates.
A trustworthy futures sim-funder with an EOD trailing drawdown and genuinely unrestricted news trading — but it's manual-only (no bots/copy) and the anti-scalping and consistency rules are strict.
40% consistency on Bolt/Legacy/Flex; short 7-day challenge inactivity; no weekend holding
Best for: Manual futures day traders who want an EOD trailing drawdown and free news trading — and who hold trades beyond a few seconds and spread profit across days.
Bottom line: Clean, credible futures rules for discretionary traders; just know it's bot-free and enforces a real anti-scalping minimum hold.

The Maximum Loss Limit is calculated on the highest recorded END-OF-DAY balance and updated at the start of each day — it trails upward only as your EOD balance grows, never down, and intraday unrealized spikes do not raise it. Once it reaches your starting balance it locks there (Flex: $50,100 / $100,100 / $150,100). Amounts: Rapid $1k/$2k/$2.5k; Legacy $1k/$2k/$3k; Bolt $2k.
Gotcha: It only locks once the trail reaches your start (start + $100 buffer) — until then a losing close shrinks your room for good.
Only Bolt ($50K) has a daily loss limit: $1,000 aggregate (closed + floating + fees). Hitting it is a soft breach — trading pauses for the rest of the day and resumes next session, not an account failure. Rapid, Legacy and Flex have NO daily loss limit.
A 40% rule applies during the challenge on Bolt, Legacy and Flex: a single day's profit must not exceed 40% of total profit. Rapid has no consistency rule. On funded accounts consistency does not apply (e.g., Legacy funded has none). Violation fails the challenge (not termination/ban).
Gotcha: Even with no minimum days to pass, a single big day can fail Bolt/Legacy/Flex on the 40% rule.
No news-trading rules — allowed on both the Challenge and funded accounts (NFP/CPI/FOMC included). Note the separate price-limit and extreme-volatility restrictions still apply (no trading within 2% of the CME price limit, or during extreme gaps/low liquidity).
Forbidden: automated trading bots, AI or ultra-high-speed execution, and copy/mirror trading or coordinating trades across accounts. Manual discretionary trading only.
Gotcha: No bots, no AI execution, no copy trading of any kind — this is a strictly manual firm.
Prohibited: repeatedly entering/exiting within 5 ticks or without a reasonable hold (~15–20 seconds), spoofing, latency/price-error exploitation, slippage manipulation, fake volume, cross-account hedging, trading within 2% of the CME price limit, and trading in extreme/low-liquidity conditions. A max 5:1 risk-reward is enforced; account rolling and bug exploitation are restricted.
Gotcha: The 5-tick / 15–20-second minimum hold effectively bans tick scalping, and there's an unusual 5:1 risk-reward cap.
No minimum days to pass the challenge (Rapid can pass in 1 day). Payouts require Benchmark Days — a day where you hit the minimum profit for your size ($100 for $25K, $200 for $50K/$100K, $250 for Flex $150K). You need 5 Benchmark Days before the first withdrawal (Legacy needs 30 to lift caps).
Challenge accounts go inactive after 7 consecutive days with no trades; sim-funded accounts after 30 consecutive days. Inactive accounts are deactivated.
Gotcha: The challenge inactivity window is short — just 7 days without a trade deactivates it.
80% split (90% via paid add-on). Minimum withdrawal $250; you must accumulate ≥$500 profit to request, and ≥$500 new profit before the next. 5 Benchmark Days before the first payout. Bolt pays from day 1 (up to 5 total withdrawals of $250–$1,200, then the account closes); Legacy caps withdrawals at 50% of profit ($3k/$6k caps) until 30 Benchmark Days. KYC via Veriff/Sumsub (48–72h). A 24-hour payout guarantee ($1,000 extra) is marketed.
Gotcha: Bolt auto-closes after 5 withdrawals, and Legacy caps you at 50% of profit until you log 30 Benchmark Days.
