Overnight holding

Keeping positions open past the daily session close — restricted mainly at futures firms.

Forex prop firms mostly allow overnight positions (swap applies); futures firms often require flat before the exchange close, with force-close or breach consequences.

Overnight rules interact with the daily-loss reset: a position carried through the reset counts against the NEW day's limit from its reset-time value.
