Profit target

The percentage gain required to pass an evaluation phase — commonly 8–10% for phase one, ~5% for phase two.

Targets define the challenge's difficulty together with drawdown: a 10% target under a 10% max drawdown is a 1:1 budget; a 10% target under 6% trailing is a much harder game.

Funded accounts usually have no target — the target's job is done once you're funded.
