High-frequency trading is permitted as long as it does not exploit system latency or discrepancies in the external data feed. Pure latency/feed arbitrage is prohibited.
The gotcha
The line is intent: fast trading is fine, but strategies whose edge IS the firm's slow price feed (tick scalping arbitrage, feed lag exploitation) get voided as gaming the simulation.
Breaching this voids the account outright — the evaluation or funded account is terminated and any unrealised profit is forfeited. It's the most severe class of breach.
