Top One Futures

7.9/ 10

The CME-futures arm of Top One, with six programs (Elite Challenge/Daily/Access, Instant Sim Funded, S2F Sim PRO, IGNITE), a 90% split and same-day-ish payouts. The catches: the drawdown locks at only start+$100 (and freezes the moment you take a payout), a 10.01-second minimum hold bans fast scalps, manual-only trading (no EAs/bots), a hard 4:10 PM ET daily flatten, and a 14-day inactivity permanent close.

The FundedWiki verdict

7.9/10

A well-documented futures sim-funder with a 90% split and EOD-trailing drawdown — but it's manual-only, enforces a 10-second minimum hold, and locks the drawdown at just $100 above your start.

Pros

  • 90% split across all programs; fast payouts (Elite Daily pays every 24 hours)
  • EOD trailing drawdown (S2F Sim PRO is the only intraday-trailing plan)
  • News trading allowed; six program styles incl. instant and daily-payout options
  • Detailed public help center — rules are clearly documented

Watch out

  • Drawdown locks at only starting balance + $100 and freezes the moment you take your first payout
  • Manual-only — EAs/bots/automation strictly prohibited; trades under 10.01 seconds void
  • Hard 4:10 PM ET daily flatten (no overnight/weekend); 14-day inactivity = permanent close

Best for: Manual futures day traders who want a 90% split and EOD-trailing drawdown — and who hold trades past 10 seconds and don't need overnight positions.

Bottom line: Solid, transparent futures rules; just remember the +$100 drawdown lock, the no-bots rule and the 10-second minimum hold.

The rules, one by one

DrawdownConditionalVoids accountHidden ruleVerified

Maximum drawdown (EOD trailing; locks at start+$100)

Dollar amounts $1,000 / $2,000 / $3,000 / $4,500 by size. Most programs use an END-OF-DAY trailing drawdown that trails your highest CLOSED balance and never moves down; S2F Sim PRO uses an INTRADAY trailing drawdown (TIDD) that follows your highest equity including open trades, tick by tick. It locks at starting balance + $100 when EITHER your balance reaches start + drawdown + $100, OR you take your first payout (whichever comes first).

Gotcha: It locks at only start+$100 — and taking a payout permanently freezes the trail, so you may want it to ratchet higher before you withdraw.

Daily loss limit

Elite Challenge 2.5% of balance (~$625/$1,250/$2,500/$3,750); IGNITE $500/$1,000/$2,000/$3,000 (hitting it pauses the account until the 6:00 PM ET reopen, not a hard breach); Elite Access has NONE. Most plans calculate the daily loss at end of day.

ConsistencyConditionalPayout deniedHidden ruleVerified

Consistency rule (per program)

Highest single-day profit ÷ total profits must stay ≤ the cap: IGNITE 15% (strictest), Instant Sim Funded / S2F Sim PRO 20% (S2F adds a 20% Equity Stability Score), Elite Challenge 25% funded, Elite Daily 40% challenge, Elite Access 40% funded. It's a payout-eligibility gate (denied, not a breach) and resets after each payout; trading day boundary is 17:00 EST.

Gotcha: A single big day can withhold an otherwise-earned payout — IGNITE's 15% cap is the tightest.

News tradingAllowedSoft / informationalVerified

News trading

News trading is allowed across accounts. Elite Daily and Elite Access funded accounts carry additional (undisclosed) news restrictions; the firm recommends stop-losses and position sizing.

Weekend holdingForbiddenWarningVerified

Weekend & overnight holding

No overnight or weekend holding. All trades must be closed by 4:10 PM EST daily — the system force-liquidates anything still open. Session runs 6:00 PM EST to 4:10 PM EST next day (Mon–Fri) with a 5:00–6:00 PM EST daily break; weekend trading is prohibited.

EAs & algosForbiddenVoids accountHidden ruleVerified

Automation & copy trading

Automation is strictly prohibited — no automated trading systems, scripts, bots, EAs or high-frequency execution tools; all trades must be manual or semi-manual. Copy trading is generally prohibited, except mirroring your OWN accounts across firms when trades originate from your Top One Futures discretion; signal following, group trading and mirroring others are banned.

Gotcha: This is a strictly manual firm — any EA/bot/script is a violation.

Prohibited strategiesForbiddenVoids accountHidden ruleVerified

Sub-10s trades, latency, cross-account hedging, churning

Prohibited: trades closed before 10.01 seconds (an anti-scalp/HFT floor), latency arbitrage, insider trading, front-running, cross-account/cross-firm hedging, quote stuffing/slippage targeting, purchased 'pass-the-challenge' systems, account churning (buying many accounts and breaching within 1–2 days), and intentional breaching to game protections.

Gotcha: A trade closed under 10.01 seconds is a violation — sub-10-second scalps don't count and can void trades.

Min trading daysConditionalPayout deniedVerified

Minimum trading days

IGNITE: no minimum days to payout. Elite (challenge): can pass in 1 day. S2F Sim PRO: 10 minimum days to payout. Elite Access: 5 days to payout. A valid day requires at least one completed trade meeting the 10-second minimum hold.

InactivityConditionalVoids accountHidden ruleVerified

Inactivity

14 calendar days (including weekends/holidays) without a trade marks the account inactive — a hard breach that permanently closes it, with all progress and profits lost. One trade meeting the 10-second minimum keeps it active.

Gotcha: The 14-day window counts weekends and holidays and the closure is permanent — no reinstatement.

PayoutsConditionalPayout deniedHidden ruleVerified

Payouts & split

90% split across all programs. Elite Daily pays every 24 hours from day one; IGNITE pays per-payout once a 5% profit target + 15% consistency are met ($250 minimum). For Instant/Elite Sim, first-payout profit thresholds are 6% (1st), 5% (2nd), 4% (3rd+), resetting each time. Elite Daily caps per request ($750/$1,000/$1,500) with a 50% fresh-profit rule and a buffer that must remain. After 5 successful payouts you can transition to a live account. KYC via Veriff (photo ID + proof of address ≤60 days + selfie) before trading.

Gotcha: Drawdown freezes permanently on your first payout — and Elite Daily requires ≥50% of each request to come from profit earned since the last payout.
