Allowed during evaluation. On funded accounts, opening or closing trades within ~2 minutes before/after a high-impact (red-folder) release is restricted — Instant Standard cites a 2-minute window. Profits from trades violating the window are removed, but the account is not necessarily breached.
The gotcha
The penalty is silent — your trade isn't voided, just its profit, so funded gains can quietly disappear.

This is a soft breach: the firm typically warns or flags the account rather than voiding it, but repeated or flagrant breaches escalate to termination.
