You cannot open or close trades 2 minutes either side of a red-folder news event. Profits made in violation are stripped (in challenge and funded). On Instant accounts, news trading effectively isn't allowed.
The gotcha
The window catches trades that CLOSE inside it too โ take-profits, stop-losses and pending fills โ even if opened well before the event.
